off to play some footie myself, didn't want to rush anything as i had been studying for my finals all night and didn't handicap any of the games, i already have a lean on Celta +0'25 vs espanyol at 1'82, but of course will wait till the celta game is final.

Good luck everyone !

Alright mate. Definitely with you on Celta. They did brilliantly last year whilst Espanyol struggled. They were really unlucky to lose the first match of the season against Barcelona. Espanyol, on the other hand just lost 3-0 to Betis. So, this seems like a great pick. Also been thinking of Sevilla, and Zaragoza. I know its the derby, history shows it to be unpredictable, and no Sevilla matches are being televised, but they've been in amazing form, have got a great squad, and are at home. What do you think?

They lost to zaragoza 3:0, but zaragoza is playing great football, they should own mallorca, but it's -0'75, hey, still good now that i think of it.

Betis is being shaky lately, they won 3:0 vs Bilbao but as unimpressive as one can achieve such a score, i very much doubt they can score ONCE, and they should be scored upon at least once or twice, so that one looks decent too. I will read plenty on the match in these days to come and will have more info on it soon.

Also have a feeling atletico madrid bounces back away vs bilbao with a decent underachieving squad, they are being hard pressed and it's about time for them to get lucky, and at pk -104 seems decent.

Also strong feeling on racing - barça OVER 2'5 as both squads are offensive and i think racing could score, maybe even twice, they play well at home, again i will read about the D-line of barça and make a decision.

Look forward to start sharing picks and hopefully some more winners than otherwise !!

Yep, made a mistake with the Betis/Zaragoza's wins. But makes the picks this week even better, definitely have to take Zaragoza now.

I was thinking of Atletico to bounce back but I think Torres will be suspended because of his sending off last match. Mista and Aguero, it's their first seasons for Atletico, so not sure how they're fitting into the squad.

It's pretty crap in the UK for La Liga coverage. They show all the Barcelona and Madrid matches, a long with a few others. But there's not enough of the other teams. Then we get a highlight show. But, I'm relying alot on some family from Valencia, and a great Spanish friend of mine who helps out with my picks, so all your info is really appreciated mate. Here's to some winning picks:toast:

we get the best matches of the Premier L here, but not much on other teams as well. That's how it goes everywhere. I didn't remember about torres, he's not that good, but one of the best for atletico, no play right now for me, also bilbao does much better at home. Under looking better as both teams struggle offensively.

It's ironic, I think we get the broadest coverage in the US. The Mexican league is on about 4 channels, Fox Soccer Channel, GolTV and Setanta have great coverage across all leagues and the Champions League is carried by ESPN, Setanta and I think FSC too. ESPN Deportes has coverage also, unfortunately I don't get that.

Understood. Sorry, I re-read my post and it didn't make sense. Mexican league is on like four channels while the 3 named stations show EPL, La Liga, Serie A, Championship, Scotland, Brasil, Argentina, Columbia, France, Germany, Champions League, UEFA Cup, FA Cup, Carling Cup, a few Amsterdam games, Euro and World Cup Qualifiers and some other random leagues. No Portuguese league though.

that sounds pretty nice, damn i think you can see more Liga matches than me, i can only watch live 2 each weekend, and then on mondays and tuesdays i get to watch some more games played that last weekend. And i have cable-tv, otherwise only 1 per weekend.

I will post some plays on Segunda B Spanish, the books are pretty clueless there as its the third division and we have 4 groups and i am a member of a nice spanish forum where we've been doing rather well. Doesn't matter what u find edges at, the money is worth just as much.

So this thread will have picks of mine, as well as picks of others, and i may even add plays from fhmesq, or jack, chriscol, alex, joey or anyone if i agree with the pick or simply trust them and bet it.

On to the season my friends !!

Upgrading Eibar play to 4* based on poor performance away from home from Marino. Moreover this line has great value, as Eibar are at 1'85 as outright winners in Bwin, here we get 1'89 with half the stake back in case of a draw.
Have to hammer it.

4) Eibar (-0'25) over Marino -112 ** (upgraded) at pinny.

also barakaldo won 0-1, which was a lean. Today has been a setback but we are still alive, and i have gained confidence on the segunda B picks. I also count on my tailings to go better, all in all a bad day, look forward to bounce back soon.
